i'm exhausted. i had a decent day & terrible evening. however, it's okay. because i painted with tea.
this idea came to me after i spilled some raspberry tea on a flower i'd drawn. i wondered what colors the paper would turn, how organic the texture would appear, & how the images might overlap. in order to figure it out, i turned to a perforated page meant for printing business cards. perfect! drew a few flora-inspired shapes, then proceeded to separate the cards & soak them in 7 different kinds of tea.
on the one hand, i worry that i wasted a goodly amount of good tea. on the other, i feel that, post-photoshop fun, it was well worth it. while some of these may not have the resolution to work out as prints, they do make for some unique & kick-ass stationery, mugs, magnets, etc.
for example:
yeah.
